A lovely light weight Algerian choker necklace for a petite lady. It is from the 1970s and made with vivid light blue, royal blue, green and yellow hues of enamel. A red glass or resin cabochon sits in the middle of the main pendant and stands in for what in older days would have been a coral cabochon. The links are Rihanna like ( links made mainly in Tunisia but also in Algeria).  This type of neckalce was used as day to day jewelry and thus it was made light and easy to wear and is known locally as Moh attito. In good vintage condition.

Length is 36 cm 14" .  The main pendant is 3.5 cm (1 1/2") across. Weight is 17 g.
