This design is derived from a motif found in jewellery worn in Tibet and the Himalayan region. It is specifically found on the clasp work on the back of the neck, on the top of a necklace.

The brooch is handcrafted by traditional artisans in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. It is made from sterling silver with a coral centre.
